If you enjoy frozen poultry corn dogs, you should examine the package. House of Raeford recalled more than 76,000 pounds of Foster Farms brand chicken corn dogs on June 30 owing to a risk of spoiling.

The product in question is the "Foster Farms Mini Corn Dogs Bite Sized Franks Coated in Batter Honey Crunchy Flavor."

The recall was initiated after customers apparently complained about the goods appearing "off." The corn dogs had a strange odor and appearance, and they apparently didn't taste like corn dogs.

Despite the fact that no sicknesses have been reported, the business advises customers not to consume the product and instead return it to the retailer for a refund, according to a press release.

Outside of these specific chicken corn dogs, all other Foster Farms products are safe to consume and should not be tossed.

This isn't the first time Foster Farms products have been pulled from shop shelves.

Food recalls are quite common in the frozen food industry, and Foster Farms was subject to another recall in October 2022, when 148,000 pounds of its frozen chicken patties were recalled owing to the possibility of plastic contamination.

Another Foster Farms product recall happened in 2016, when 220,000 pounds of the brand's frozen chicken nuggets were removed from shop shelves due to probable plastic and rubber contamination.
